 Halfway between green and yellow — this fun hue can bring just the right zing as an accent wall or can be paired with neutrals to bring a modern flair. According to Wikipedia, this color got its name because it resembled the green color of one of the French liqueurs called green chartreuse, introduced in 1764. Who knew? :) Check out the home I have for sale at 825 Willoway in East Alton. I totally LOVE the fresh chartreuse color they picked for their living room. It works beautifully with their wood floors and curtains.
